In a fresh conversation on Digital Commentary’s podcast, Sumeet Vyas discussed his collaboration with Kareena Kapoor Khan on Veere Di Wedding. Sumeet revealed his gratitude for being involved in Rhea Kapoor’s production and admitted to feeling “surprised” when he learned he would be working alongside such a renowned actress like Kareena.
Initially, Sumeet expressed that he spent his childhood observing prominent figures in the industry, and upon collaborating with them, he discovered that these individuals maintain a high level of discipline. Continuing his thoughts, Sumeet emphasized that these stars are incredibly dedicated and confident in their chosen profession.
When I collaborated with Kareena Kapoor, she was already a well-established star, having acted in numerous films. Despite this, she always remained patient during filming, even when waiting for her scenes. I never noticed any signs of impatience from her about her shots, and instead, she would quietly stay put,” he shared.
Sumeet mentioned that when it was time for Bebo to shoot her scenes on set, she was always thoroughly prepared for her performance.
Later, the actor from Veere Di Wedding discussed that Kareena Kapoor performed a dance scene in the movie after giving birth to her first son, Taimur Ali Khan. Sumeet mentioned that during the preparation of a song for the 2018 film, Kareena was in Mumbai and they were rehearsing. The actor went on to explain that it was surprising to him how Bebo managed to find time for rehearsals and simply showed up on set.
Sumeet commended Kareena, expressing that she excelled beyond those who had been practicing for the same scene.
