Filmmaker Shekhar Kapur’s daughter, Kaveri Kapur, recently debuted in the streaming movie Bobby Aur Rishi Ki Love Story. She acts alongside Amrish Puri’s grandson, Vardhaan Puri. Priyanka Chopra has now extended her congratulations to Kaveri on her first film and expressed her admiration for a new song from the movie that features music by AR Rahman.
On February 11th, 2025, the creators of the latest film “Bobby Aur Rishi Ki Love Story” revealed the song titled “Ek Dhaaga Toda Maine” on their social media outlets. This track is the work of AR Rahman in production and Prasoon Joshi for the lyrics. Singer and composer Kaveri Kapur, who is making her acting debut with this movie, has lent her voice to it.
Following the unveiling of the song, Priyanka Chopra took to her Instagram Stories to post it and express her congratulations. The movie “Bobby Aur Rishi Ki Love Story” introduces us to Bobby and Rishi, two individuals who cross paths in a foreign land. The film narrates their romantic journey under the guidance of director Kunal Kohli. Jyoti Deshpande and Mohaan Nadaar are the producers, with Ketki Pandit serving as co-producer. Currently, Priyanka Chopra is in India. She flew into Hyderabad last month to kick off production on her jungle adventure movie alongside SS Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu. Recently, she traveled to Mumbai for the wedding festivities of her brother Siddharth Chopra, who got married to Neelam Upadhyaya on February 7, 2025.
Priyanka Chopra was accompanied by her husband Nick Jonas, their daughter Malti Marie, and Nick’s parents Kevin Jonas Sr. and Denise Jonas at the events.
