Kendrick Lamar has broken his own record for the highest-grossing hip-hop concert.

According to OurGenerationMusic, the joint concert of Dot and SZA at Seattle’s Lumen Field generated a grand total of approximately $14.8 million USD from 60,941 ticket sales, setting a new record for the rapper in late April. Interestingly, the inaugural night of their “Grand National Tour” at Minneapolis’ Bank Stadium earned a revenue of around $9.12 million USD – representing a significant difference of about $5 million USD compared to the first event.

Dot has become the first-ever rap artist to rake in more than $9 million USD from a solo performance, surpassing Eminem’s previous record set in 2019 at a show in Melbourne where he earned approximately $8.7 million USD.

Currently, the “Grand National Tour” still has several performances scheduled in North America. Later, in the summer, Lamar and SZA will travel to the UK and Europe. The tour will conclude in early August.
