As a seasoned gamer of both music and gaming consoles, I can’t help but feel exhilarated by the latest news about Kendrick Lamar’s anticipated deluxe edition of his album “GNX”. Having followed his career since his debut, it feels like embarking on an exciting quest in a new game expansion pack.
As a die-hard fan, I’m thrilled about Kendrick Lamar’s latest drop, GNX. Just a few days after its release, one of the featured artists on “TV Off,” Lefty Gunplay, hinted at the possibility of a special edition coming our way. Can’t wait to see what else this masterpiece has in store!
On the Bootleg Kev Podcast, Lefty Gunplay disclosed that Kendrick is preparing a special edition of GNX, saying, “I contributed to that track. He’s got some additional content…I think he’s releasing an expanded version soon.” Furthermore, the rapper hinted at an upcoming music video for “TV OFF.
On a surprising note, GNX dropped last Friday, leaving fans in awe. This is his debut full-length album since parting ways with Top Dawg Entertainment and Aftermath Entertainment. Now signed to PGLang and Interscope Records, Kendrick Lamar showcased notable collaborations such as AzChike, Dody6, Hitta J3, Peysoh, Roddy Ricch, Siete7x, SZA, Wallie the Sensei, and YoungThreat on this album. In terms of production, Kendrick enlisted Sounwave, Jack Antonoff, Mustard, among others for his new project. Just days after its release, it seems that Kendrick’s conflict with Drake might have resurfaced as The Boy filed several lawsuits against Universal Music Group in response to Kendrick’s diss track “Not Like Us.”>
It remains to be seen how this will unfold.
