Following Sikandar, fans of Salman Khan are excitedly anticipating the sequel to his 2014 release, Kick 2. Recently, Randeep Hooda, who played the police officer in the original, hinted at potentially reprising his role in the upcoming movie. He also shared that Sajid Nadiadwala will play a significant part in the film’s production process.
During an interview with Shubhankar Mishra on his YouTube channel, Randeep Hooda was questioned about his involvement in Kick 2. In response, he acknowledged that he’s heard whispers of a sequel being produced, but he isn’t certain when production will commence. He also noted that producer Sajid Nadiadwala is typically associated with the project.
He mentioned that they were going to create something, but I haven’t received any update on it so far. I’m unsure if my involvement is confirmed, if the project is underway or not. All I know is that he’s pondering over it for now.
Conversely, during an interview with Mid-Day, screenwriter Rajat Arora shared that their focus is on crafting a new and captivating storyline. He mentioned that the sequel will pick up directly from where the initial installment concluded.
In October 2024, Grandson Productions posted a striking black-and-white photo of Salman Khan on social media, showcasing his muscular physique with his back facing the camera. The accompanying caption read, “What a fantastic Kick 2 photoshoot, Sikandar…!” This was shared by Grand Sajid Nadiadwala, along with Salman Khan and Warda Nadiadwala using the hashtags #Kick2 and #Sikandar.
