Kid Cudi Called to Testify in Sean “Diddy” Combs Trial

Kid Cudi has been called to testify in Sean “Diddy” Combs’ sex-trafficking and racketeering trial.

On Tuesday, Prosecutor Maurene Comey revealed that the rapper, who was involved with Cassie Ventura, former girlfriend of Sean Combs, is likely to testify either on Wednesday or Thursday.

At the trial, Ventura stated under oath that she had discovered Combs found out about her relationship with rapper Kid Cudi at one of his wild parties, through her phone messages. According to Ventura’s testimony, Combs threatened to destroy Cudi’s car (which later exploded in early 2012), and he also threatened to release two explicit videos involving her, as well as arranging for someone to harm both her and Cudi.

Following Ventura’s initial lawsuit in 2023, which encompassed claims about Cudi’s vehicle too, a representative for him acknowledged to The New York Times that one of his cars had been involved in an explosion, yet offered no additional information. The rep stated back then, “Everything you’ve heard is accurate.

Cudi will take the stand following George Kaplan, an ex-employee previously stated by Ventura as having resigned due to witnessing mistreatment, as reported by CNN.

In his testimony last week, Ventura expressed concern about both his career and his family. He found the situation humiliating. If things continued as they were, it might destroy all that he had worked so hard to achieve, causing him to appear as though he had loose morals.

More to come.
