As someone who has closely followed Jack Veal’s journey since his captivating portrayal of Kid Loki, I can’t help but feel a profound sense of relief and joy hearing about his recent progress. It’s heartbreaking to think that such a talented young actor found himself in a difficult situation, but it’s incredible to see how social media can bring about positive change.
During the summer of 2021, the Marvel Cinematic Universe ventured into the Marvel multiverse for the first time on a large scale with the premiere of Loki’s first season, known as The Multiverse Saga. Notably, the primary Loki character portrayed by Tom Hiddleston and Sylvie’s version of the character were removed to an unknown place called The Void. During this journey, they encountered various other versions of Asgard’s trickster god, including Kid Loki, played by Jack Veal. Unfortunately, Veal has been going through a difficult period lately, but there’s some good news following the widespread attention his “homeless and 17” TikTok videos received.
If you haven’t heard yet, I wanted to share some personal news. This past week, I posted a video on TikTok where I opened up about my situation. I’ve been living in a trailer with broken windows here in London, having left a home filled with physical violence, emotional abuse, and more. I also shared that I have autism, ADHD, and am currently undergoing screening for bipolar disorder and psychosis.
I recently received a call from social services, informing me that they’d like to meet with me tomorrow, possibly to discuss placing me into foster care and offering assistance and resources. It seems word has spread about the situation, and it’s made a significant difference in my life. Now, they’re taking action, which I appreciate immensely. Thank you for everything you’ve done. I’ll keep you updated on the meeting. I can’t make any guarantees, but this is the first time such accommodations have been offered to me, so thank you again. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I hold each and every one of you in high regard.

This fantastic news benefits Jack Veal, who has acted in shows like Loki, The End of the F***ing World, and The Peripheral. Within a short span, he transformed from homelessness to securing a promising lead for housing and essential care. Here’s hoping this positive turn of events continues for him, as no child deserves such hardships.
As a devoted fan, I’m equally optimistic that the spotlight on Veal could pave the way for him to secure larger film and TV roles within Marvel. Who knows? Although it seems unlikely, there might just be an opening for him to portray another character in an upcoming Marvel movie or series. It’s worth noting that this franchise has previously given actors a chance to play multiple characters, and by the time he takes on this new role, Veal would have matured, which could make it less apparent to many viewers that they’ve seen him in the MCU before.
Why not take another look at Jack Veal’s stint in Loki? You can do so by streaming the series with your Disney+ membership. In case you’re wondering, the next Marvel Cinematic Universe TV series is What If…? Season 3. It will start airing its eight episodes daily from December 22 onwards.
