Kim Kardashian is helping to bring the Bratz franchise back to the screen.
MGM Studios from Amazon has acquired the rights for a brand-new live-action movie, inspired by MGA Entertainment’s toys, with the Kardashians and Picturestart producing this project. The Kardashians are currently discussing her role as the antagonist in the film.
Charlie Polinger and Lucy McKendrick are writing the script for the movie. Kardashian, along with Erik Feig and Julia Hammer from Picturestart, and Jason and Jasmin Larian from MGA, are involved in its production. Isaac Larian from MGA is overseeing the project as an executive producer.
Mattel Girls’ Action (MGA) was responsible for the live-action Bratz movie that premiered in cinemas back in 2007. The cast included Nathalia Ramos, Skyler Shaye, Logan Browning, Janel Parrish, and Jon Voight. This film, which was also produced by MGA, unfortunately did not perform well financially at the box office.
Deadline was first to report on the project.
More to come.
