Kota Factory isn’t just a TV series; it strikes a deep chord with students grappling with the trials of IIT preparation and academic pressure more broadly. The genuine and relatable storyline resonates with students beyond IIT aspirants, too. Jitendra Kumar’s character, Jeetu Bhaiya, provides guidance and support that has won the hearts of viewers. Following the release of season 3, fans are anxiously awaiting season 4. Recent speculation hints at a potential premiere date in early 2026.
According to a report from Gadget 360, talks about Kota Factory Season 4 are happening, although no specific release date has been announced yet. Given that it took almost three years for Season 3 to come out, some people are guessing that the next season might be out as early as 2026.
Given the huge success of the show, it’s possible that a release date for the next season could be brought forward. Initially airing on YouTube, this series has risen to become one of Netflix India’s highest-rated originals. If another season is greenlit, it may debut on Netflix as suggested by recent reports.
The report further mentioned that the forthcoming season may explore Vaibhav’s story after his disappointment in the JEE Advanced, potentially highlighting his resilience as he prepares for another try.
In the upcoming chapters, it’s unclear what lies ahead for Jeetu Bhaiya as he takes on a position within the Education Ministry, while Meena adapting to life at IIT and the changing dynamics between Uday and Shivangi in their relationship are also significant storylines.
According to the information posted on the portal, it’s anticipated that Jitendra Kumar will reappear as Jeetu Bhaiya, while Mayur More continues his role as Vaibhav Pandey in Kota Factory Season 4. It seems likely that the main cast members, including Ranjan Raj, Alam Khan, Revathi Pillai, and Ahsaas Channa, will also return to their respective roles, but at this point, it’s not yet confirmed officially.
Previously, during an interview with OTTPlay, director Pratish Mehta discussed the potential for a fourth season of Kota Factory. He emphasized that the team continues to strive for authentic representations of student and teacher dynamics.
Should the series receive approval for a new installment, the team intends to preserve the authentic style that has struck a chord with audiences. Mehta underscored the show’s unique power to bridge the gap between current students and those who have experienced the Kota journey firsthand.
Kota Factory, a series conceived by Arunabh Kumar, Saurabh Khanna, and Raghav Subbu, first aired on April 16, 2019. The long-anticipated third season made its appearance on Netflix a year ago, carrying forward the show’s authentic portrayal of student experiences.
