Kraven the Hunter Earns Shocking Honor from the Predators

Although often overlooked as one of the original members of the Sinister Six, Kraven the Hunter is seldom given due recognition. His talents in hunting and fighting are unquestionable, but they don’t compare to many other villains associated with Spider-Man. However, Sergei Kravinoff received an exceptional tribute from the Predators in issue #4 of “Predator vs. Spider-Man”.

As a devoted fan, I’d like to share my excitement about the thrilling tale penned by Benjamin Percy, beautifully illustrated by Marcelo Ferreira – Predator vs. Spider-Man! This epic story brings the Yautja race right into the heart of New York City. Among them is an outcast known as The Skinner, who’s shunned even by his fellow Predators. Unlike most Yautja, who hunt for sport and to demonstrate their prowess, Skinner takes pleasure in sheer violence and killing indiscriminately.

His heinous acts caught the attention of a group of Predators, who pursued him all the way to Earth with the intention of eliminating him. In short, get ready for an action-packed clash between two iconic characters on the bustling streets of New York City!

Throughout the series, I found myself hot on the trail of Spider-Man and Skinner, tracing their steps at the gruesome sites of Skinner’s murders in Manhattan. In a daring move, I managed to corner Skinner as he was tampering with the Yautja hunting party’s vessel – they were there to thwart me. The battle was fierce, but in the end, I emerged victorious, though not without some wounds of my own.

Kraven is honored for his skills by Predators

Upon encountering Kraven, the predator group instantly moved to attack. Yet, when Kraven retaliated, they paused momentarily. It was then that they spotted Skinner’s lifeless body, and it became clear to them what feat Kraven had achieved.

It’s seldom that a human defeats one of the Yautja, and even more unusual when they do so with basic weapons. What sets the Yautja apart is their fierce nature, but they respect an opponent who demonstrates prowess. Such valor would be enough for Kraven to spare his life.

Instead, the Predators took things one step beyond, branding Skinner’s selected insignia onto Kraven’s forehead. They also invited him to participate in their cosmic hunts for fresh challenges. In the climax, Kraven’s most significant test to prove his worth was not Spider-Man; it was a Predator.

Predator vs. Spider-Man #4 is now available at comic shops everywhere.
