Kriti Sanon says she 'loves' Shah Rukh Khan; 'He is one of those few people who you are...'

As a lifestyle expert with a keen eye for celebrity dynamics, I must say that the admiration for Shah Rukh Khan transcends boundaries and generations. From the biggest stars to the average movie-goer, King Khan holds a special place in our hearts.

As a devoted follower myself, it’s hard to imagine anyone who doesn’t adore Shah Rukh Khan. Even the most renowned celebrities extol his greatness, and Kriti Sanon is no exception. In a recent gathering with Nikhil Kamath, rapper Badshah, and cricketer KL Rahul, Kriti couldn’t hide her enthusiasm and openly expressed her profound admiration for her Dilwale co-star.

The discussion started by asking Badshah, also known as Aditya Prateek Singh Sisodia, about the reason behind his stage name choice. Without hesitation, he explained that he is an ardent fan of Shah Rukh Khan. Nikhil then expressed his admiration for SRK, while Kriti shared her feelings, stating that she adores him and even more so after meeting him because he’s one of those rare individuals who you already idolize, but then you meet them and become an even bigger fan.

Whenever I find myself in Mumbai, I always arrange a sleepover at Shah Rukh Khan’s place. It’s quite extraordinary how we can sit and talk for around four to five hours at a time. Kriti chimed in, acknowledging my intelligence, but I humbly credit the valuable insights SRK shares with me. I seek him out primarily for his wisdom, or as they say in India, ‘gyan’.

As a devoted admirer, let me clarify for those who might be unfamiliar: Kriti and SRK, despite never appearing as co-stars, did share screen space in Dilwale. This 2015 production also featured Kajol and Varun Dhawan in key roles. In a recent Times Now Summit, I was asked to express my thoughts on the ongoing debate regarding insiders and outsiders within Bollywood.

Kriti Sanon commented on Shah Rukh Khan as being an outstanding illustration of the ongoing ‘insider vs. outsider’ discussion within showbiz, noting that he succeeded despite being an outsider, and it’s a topic worth considering.

In terms of professional endeavors, Kriti recently starred in the blockbuster film “Crew” alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan and Tabu. Now, she’s getting ready for the premiere of “Do Patti,” a project she’s also producing. Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan is set to appear in Sujoy Ghosh’s film titled “King,” where he will share screen space with Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, and Abhay Verma.
