Among the much-awaited Bollywood films is Krrish 4. Fans of Hrithik Roshan are twice as thrilled since he not only acts in this superhero movie but also marks his first time directing a project. HR’s sister, Sunaina Roshan, shared that she couldn’t help but cry when she found out about him assuming the director’s role.
During an interview with News18 Showsha, Sunaina Roshan (Hrithik Roshan’s sister) shared her excitement for Krrish 4. Specifically, she expressed eagerness to witness Hrithik’s directorial skills, as he had privately shared this news with them before it was made public.
Sunaina expressed, “He descended, and I couldn’t help but sob, sob, sob upon learning he would carry on our father’s legacy by directing a film. She continued to share that their father too felt emotional. ‘It’s almost too much for me to accept that my younger brother is now stepping into the director’s role,’ she shared. Sunaina went on to say that she had always believed Hrithik would excel in this new venture.
In March 2025, it was made public that Rakesh Roshan was handing over the responsibility to Hrithik Roshan for a project they both had dreamed of since its beginning – Krrish. Sunaina Roshan, sharing this news on Instagram, expressed her immense pride at witnessing them carry forward their vision. She stated, “Seeing Papa and Duggu continue to bring their dream for Krrish to life, fills me with great pride.
Expressing her enthusiasm, she penned, “I’m speechless with joy to hear that Duggu is taking up the director’s position for #Krrish4. Another fantastic achievement for you, and I couldn’t be more proud!
