Krrish 4: Is Jadoo making a comeback in Hrithik Roshan’s superhero film? Rakesh Roshan shares major update

Fans of Hrithik Roshan have been excitedly waiting for the start of filming for Krrish 4, with his father Rakesh Roshan previously hinting at an upcoming announcement regarding the superhero movie. Recently, Rakesh addressed speculation about whether the beloved character Jadoo from the original Koi Mil Gaya will reappear in the fourth installment.

During an interview with Movie Talkies, Rakesh Roshan was questioned regarding speculations about Jadoo reappearing in the Krrish series. In response, the filmmaker stated, “Actually, I won’t say anything at this moment, but we have our script prepared.” He went on to express, “I have an idea for it and I’m quite pleased with it. Please disregard any rumors.” Roshan also mentioned that they would commence work on Krrish 4 once they are ready.

During our chat, Rakesh Roshan assured that the film was imminent but had been facing delays due to financial matters. He explained that the film required a substantial budget given its ambitious scope. He mentioned that reducing the budget could potentially affect the plot’s integrity. The director of Karan Arjun emphasized his unwillingness to compromise on any aspect. Roshan concluded by saying, “I aim to perfect the budget and scale first before we begin production.

The superhero series includes three movies: “Koi Mil Gaya,” “Krrish,” and “Krrish 3.” Each one was helmed by director Rakesh Roshan. Interestingly, he won’t be in charge for the upcoming fourth installment.

Previously, during an interaction with Bollywood Hungama, Roshan expressed that he might not return to directing movies in the future, stating, “I believe I won’t be taking up directorial duties again.

Currently, Hrithik Roshan is engrossed in working on the YRF Spy Universe movie titled War 2. This action-packed thriller, helmed by Ayan Mukerji, also features Kiara Advani and Jr. NTR in significant roles. The film is set to premiere on August 14, 2025. This year marks Hrithik’s 25th anniversary in the film industry, and his debut movie Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai was re-screened in cinemas.
