On Saturday evening, Lady Gaga delivered a record-breaking performance, captivating approximately 2.5 million spectators at Rio de Janeiro’s Copacabana Beach.

The beachside spectacle known as “Mayhem on the Sand” has surpassed the record for the most attended female artist’s concert, as confirmed by its organizers. Previously, Madonna held this distinction with a show she put on at Copacabana Beach last year. Remarkably, neither event required payment to attend.

Lady Gaga unveiled her electrifying five-act concert, which she premiered during her Coachella headlining gig last month. The Brazilian police declared on Sunday that they had taken into custody two individuals who were suspected of planning to explode a bomb at a concert.
