As a lifelong Atlanta resident and a die-hard fan of hip hop music, I’m beyond excited about Latto’s Sugar Honey Iced Tea Tour! It’s amazing to see one of our own rising to such heights and bringing the Atlanta energy to major cities across North America. However, as a true Georgia Peach, I can’t help but feel a pang of disappointment that there’s no stop in Atlanta on the lineup – Ms. Latto, please don’t forget about us!
Following the release of “Sugar Honey Iced Tea” last Friday, Latto is already strategizing her next steps. She’s planning to infuse the Atlanta vibe into numerous key cities across North America, teaming up with Mariah the Scientist and KARRAHBOOO for the 22-city “Sugar Honey Iced Tea Tour” throughout North America, as part of promoting her album.
The tour begins in Tampa, Florida on October 25, followed by visits to Washington D.C., Brooklyn, Boston, Toronto, Detroit, Chicago, San Diego, Vancouver, and Las Vegas, concluding in Denver on December 7.
Many commenters pointed out the absence of an Atlanta stop on the schedule, with one person exclaiming, “No Atlanta is unbelievable! Georgia’s sweetheart!”
Beneath the details for the North American tour, it states that after this, we will be visiting Europe during Winter 2025. As for Africa and Australia, those dates are yet to be determined.
