On Instagram, both the team and LeBron James made an announcement that preceding the Big Ten matchup against Oregon, the football squad will receive unique Nike-designed cleats as a gift.
The team is anticipated to wear the distinctive Vapor Edge Zoom LBJ 4 cleats in the famous “Eggplant” color scheme. Made from robust Foamposite material, this shoe is lightweight and boasts the unique finish that mimics the original LeBron 4 “Eggplant.” The shoe sports James’ No. 23 on the tongue. Previously, Ohio State players have donned cleats inspired by LeBron, such as a pair of LeBron 4 “Graffiti” cleats in 2023.
