Lil Wayne is getting ready for the launch of his upcoming album, The Carter VI, by introducing a fresh collection resulting from his partnership with the NFL and Mitchell & Ness, which takes inspiration from American football.
In honor of sports tradition, this partnership presents an exclusive, limited-run clothing line merging Lil Wayne’s unique fashion sense with his passion for the NFL. Kicking off the 2025 NFL Draft in Green Bay this year, Weezy creates a range of limited edition t-shirts, hoodies, and iconic jerseys, which incorporate references to his upcoming album along with iconic symbols representing the “Cheesehead” culture of the Packers. Being a lifelong Packers fan, Weezy’s collection showcases vibrant designs and high-quality craftsmanship that celebrate Green Bay’s rich heritage.
Lil Wayne described his latest collaboration as follows: “We needed to produce something that embodies ‘G’ while retaining that distinctive Tunechi vibe. It transcends merchandise.” He further explained, “It symbolizes legacy, devotion, and a touch of luxury for the genuine fans.” Emilie Arel, president of Mitchell & Ness, stated: “This collaboration encapsulates the spirit of Mitchell & Ness – blending one of the most gifted global entertainers with renowned sports franchises and striking merchandise designs. We’re thrilled to introduce a collection with Lil Wayne at the NFL Draft and eagerly anticipate watching this partnership unfold in various ways throughout the year.
The collection drops on June 6.
