This marks Lohan’s third romantic comedy on the platform, following her 2022 release “Falling for Christmas” and her earlier film this year, “Irish Wish“, which generated some online buzz. As she continues to star in Netflix’s rom-com series, Lohan is making a significant comeback, with these roles contributing to the resurgence of the former child starlet. What is Our Little Secret All About?
Netflix has unveiled the initial images from the movie (feel free to take a look at them above). In addition to Lindsay Lohan and Tim Meadows, the film “Our Little Secret” features Tony Award-winner Kristin Chenoweth, Ian Harding known for his role in “Pretty Little Liars”, and Dan Bucatinsky from “Scandal”. The story revolves around two former lovers, Avery (Lohan) and Logan (Harding), who are compelled to spend Christmas together upon discovering that their new partners turn out to be siblings.
Netflix highlights Lohan and Harding as the “central figures” in the movie, where their characters, Avery and Logan, maintain a profound bond even after being apart at the movie’s beginning. Harding further explained their relationship, stating that “Logan cherishes and appreciates much of what makes Avery uniquely Avery.
In this holiday chaos, Chenoweth takes center stage as the family matriarch, commenting on her role with, “There are numerous unexpected family connections that I get to explore, which makes it enjoyable.” Lohan reminisced about her past roles and expanding collection at Netflix during a conversation about Avery in Our Little Secret.
