As a gamer with a heart for music, I’ve been on this emotional rollercoaster since the departure of Chester Bennington from Linkin Park. But here we are, seven years later, and they’re still making waves! The new album, “From Zero,” debuting at No. 2 on Billboard 200 is a testament to their resilience. It’s like they’ve hit the reset button, started from zero, and climbed their way up again.
Linkin Park is opening this week’s Billboard 200 at No. 2 with From Zero.
In its initial week, the band’s first studio album in seven years, which marks their debut without Chester Bennington and ex-drummer Rob Bourdon, amassed a total of 97,000 units, including 72,000 in album sales, 24,000 in streaming equivalents (representing approximately 32.18 million on-demand streams), and 1,000 in track equivalents. The album, titled From Zero, represents the band’s twelfth top 10 entry.
This week sees the debut of ATEEZ’s GOLDEN HOUR: Part.2 at the top spot, selling 184,000 equivalent album units in its first week. BTS member Jin’s “Happy” follows closely at No. 4 with 77,000 equivalent album units, and Rauw Alejandro’s “Cosa Nuestra” lands at No. 6 with 67,000 equivalent album units.
This week’s top 10 list also features Tyler, the Creator in third place, Sabrina Carpenter in fifth, ENYPHEN in seventh, Gracie Abrams in eighth, Billie Eilish in ninth, and Chappell Roan in tenth position.
