Lisa Kudrow and Ray Romano Struggle to Hide a House’s Dark Secret in ‘No Good Deed’ Trailer

As a seasoned gamer who’s spent countless hours navigating the virtual realms of property management games like “The Sims” and “Animal Crossing”, I can tell you that the premise of “No Good Deed” strikes a chord with my own experiences, albeit in a much darker and more suspenseful way. The idea of a seemingly perfect house concealing deadly secrets is something I’ve encountered all too often in my gaming life – only in this case, it seems the stakes are much higher.

The housing market really is that scary. Netflix‘s first full-length trailer for No Good Deed features Lisa Kudrow and Ray Romano as a Los Angeles couple struggling to hide a potentially deadly secret beneath a plot of prime real estate.

Next month, an upcoming dark comedy unfolds, focusing on various families eager to purchase Kudrow and Romano’s 1920s Spanish-style villa, which is situated in one of Los Angeles’ most sought-after neighborhoods, as stated in the press statement.

Despite multiple factions considering it their ideal dwelling and being confident that it would resolve all their diverse issues, Lydia and Paul understand from experience that the house of one’s dreams might just as easily become a real-life horror.

In their attempt to conceal the ominous and perilous truths hidden within their familiar abode, Paul and Lydia gradually understand that the key to breaking free from their past lies in confronting it head-on.

In the preview, the primary pair secretly observes potential buyers using a concealed camera. “We need to leave this place before we both go insane,” Romano remarks.

The show also stars Linda Cardellini, O-T Fagbenle, Abbi Jacobson, Denis Leary, Poppy Liu, Teyonah Parris, and Luke Wilson, with guest stars Matt Rogers, Kate Moennig, Chloe East, Rory Scovel, Wyatt Aubrey, Kevin Alves and Linda Lavin and Anna Maria Horsford.

In 2022, Netflix directly commissioned the new series “No Good Deed.” As stated back then, the show’s creator, Liz Feldman, drew inspiration from her obsessive house browsing on Zillow during the pandemic’s early stages. She expressed immense gratitude to Netflix for being a nurturing creative environment and for allowing her to transform her relentless anxiety into entertaining content.

No Good Dead releases on Netflix on Dec. 12.
