Logitech Launches MX Creative Console Aimed at Photographers and Videographers

For more than four decades, Logitech has specialized in creating computer accessories, including the world’s inaugural wireless mouse that debuted in 1984.

One recent introduction is the MX Creative Console, a versatile productivity tool tailored to creatives. Featuring a customizable keypad and dialpad, users can program it according to their unique requirements across various creative fields such as photography, video editing, graphic design, and beyond. Logitech’s Anatoliy Polyanker describes it as empowering individuals to streamline and speed up their work processes by saying, “It’s designed to help people reimagine their workflow.” The MX Creative Console aligns with key trends like accessible digital creation, 3D design, spatial computing, and AI-enhanced workflows.

Logitech has partnered with Adobe, ensuring seamless compatibility for a variety of Adobe creative applications such as Photoshop, Lightroom Classic, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Illustrator. Additionally, they support other apps like Spotify, Apple Music, Ableton Live, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and many more.

The MX Creative Console’s control panel sports eleven customizable buttons, each representing a tool within the apps. The icons and labels for these buttons reflect the selected tool, making it swift for users to grasp. Remarkably, the icons and labels adjust automatically when a button’s function is changed, eliminating the need for further user input. Furthermore, two additional buttons are placed on the panel – left and right arrows – that enable you to navigate through multiple pages of settings or actions, up to 15 pages or 135 different options. Configuring the keypad is a breeze; simply drag and drop your preferred tools or actions using the Logi Options+ app.

Alternatively, the design includes only four buttons, accompanied by a “smooth wheel” and “adaptive dial”. These four buttons serve functions such as going back, forward, left, and right, while the smooth wheel can be utilized for navigation or magnification similar to scrolling with a conventional computer mouse.

Currently, the Logitech MX Creative Console comes in two hues – Pale Gray and Graphite, and it retails for £199.99 GBP or $199.99 USD.
