Babil Khan is ready to make his film debut with “Logout,” set to be digitally released on Zee5 on April 18th. In this movie, Babil plays a social media personality grappling with the disparity between online fame and true self-identity. In a recent chat, Babil revealed that working on “Logout” was extremely tough for him as he felt like he was acting for real for the first time.

During a conversation with News18, Babil Khan spoke candidly about the hurdles he encountered during the production of Logout. He revealed that this project was especially taxing for him since he usually gains motivation from his fellow actors and the overall ambiance, which includes props.

In the movie, he disclosed that there was no backing or companionship for him, making him perform alone. For the first time, he openly acknowledged that he needed to actively act instead of instinctively responding, which he had relied on in his prior works.

In the solitary setting of just himself, a laptop, and a pair of headphones, Babil found himself delving into the heart of what it truly means to act as an art form.

The performer from Qala explained that working on Logout helped him delve deeper into and grasp his acting intuitions, which turned out to be crucial for his artistic evolution. He pondered over how, uniquely, he had to rely solely on his imagination, placing faith in it to navigate scenes without a fellow actor to interact with.

On Friday, the lead actor confessed that carrying out the plan called for him to fully trust in his own abilities and self-reliance, allowing him to perform independently.

Actor from the show “Railway Men” shared an insightful disclosure, stating that a particular instance in Logout made him question his own skepticism towards individuals who seek acceptance on social media platforms – an encounter that provoked self-reflection.

Looking back at his old perspective, he acknowledged he was hasty in passing judgments about people and circumstances. However, over time, he discovered an eagerness to explore life with a sense of curiosity instead of judgment. He pointed out how disconnected he had grown from the concept of sharing on social platforms or valuing likes and interactions.

Babil shared that he was really curious about understanding the root causes which drive people to get lost in seeking validation from online sources. He wondered what factors might be pushing them to give up their personal identity, self-esteem, and genuine expression just for temporary approval in the form of a “like” on a platform that, as far as he’s concerned, is hollow and devoid of real meaning.
