Longines Captures Presents Limited-Edition Chronograph That Captures a Skiing Spirit

As a seasoned gamer and watch enthusiast who’s spent countless hours skiing virtual mountains, I must say that the Longines Conquest Chrono Ski Edition is a timepiece that truly resonates with my passion for both gaming and winter sports. The sleek design, with its alternating polished and satin finishes, is reminiscent of the high-performance gear I’ve used in my virtual skiing adventures.

Excitedly, I share that as a fervent admirer, I’m thrilled about Longines’ unveiling of a unique Conquest chronograph, specifically designed for the 48th FIS Alpine World Ski Championships. This exclusive edition is not just a timepiece, but a testament to the spirit of this biennial sporting event.

Named fittingly as the Conquest Chrono Ski Edition, it’s housed in a 42mm stainless steel structure with polished and satin finishes alternating. A black ceramic bezel matches the three subcounters placed against an anthracite backdrop. The color scheme leans towards gray, but pops of bright red are incorporated. Super-LumiNova® is used on the indices and also the tip of the central chrono seconds hands, ensuring easy readability.

The watch operates on the L898.5 caliber, boasting magnetic resistance and up to 56 hours of uninterrupted operation. On its backside, a detailed engraving of a skier in motion is displayed, surrounded by the phrases “SAALBACH 2025-FIS ALPINE WORLD SKI CHAMPIONSHIPS” and “LIMITED EDITION – ONE OF 2025”.

Starting from February 4th to the 16th, 2025, I’m excited to be competing in the biennial championship, which is happening right here in Saalbach/Salzburgerland! If you’re a watch enthusiast like me, mark your calendars because the Longines Conquest Chrono Ski Edition is dropping, and it’s a must-have. This beauty will be available exclusively on their webstore for $4,300 USD.
