Look Out for the Air Jordan 4 "Black Cat" to Return Next Year

As a seasoned sneaker collector with over two decades of chasing my grails, the news of the Air Jordan 4 “Black Cat” returning in 2025 has me purring like a kitten. I remember copping my first pair back in ’06 and it still holds a special place in my collection. The all-black composition is as sleek as a panther on the prowl, and I can’t wait to add another one to my stash.

Air Jordan 4 “Black Cat” (Expected Release in 2025)

This year, Jordan Brand has been commemorating the 35th anniversary of the Air Jordan 4 with a series of eagerly awaited releases, such as the debut of its low-cut “Remix” design. But, it seems that the Jumpman team has even more plans for this silhouette beyond 2024. Speculations range from a re-release of the UNDEFEATED x Air Jordan 4 to a new Nike SB-inspired colorway set to drop next year, along with another intriguing release that’s been recently hinted at.

Experts from zSneakerHeadz, Sneaker Files, and Sneaker Market RO have recently revealed that the iconic “Black Cat” color scheme of the Air Jordan 4 will likely be re-released next year. This design was highly desired back in 2006 and made a comeback for the first time in 2020 (as shown above). Currently, a pair can cost over $1,000 USD on the secondary market. However, it’s anticipated that this all-black colorway will be available again within the next year or so.

Presently, there’s no official confirmation from Jordan Brand that the “Black Cat” color scheme of the Air Jordan 4 will make a comeback next year. Keep an eye out for announcements, such as a sneak peek at the classic design, as we anticipate its release towards the end of 2025, available on Nike SNKRS and various retailers for approximately $215 USD.
