Louis Vuitton’s Footprint Soccer Shoe Is Going for Goals

As a seasoned gamer and fashion enthusiast with a penchant for blending both worlds, I can’t help but feel a surge of excitement upon hearing about the upcoming Louis Vuitton Footprint Soccer shoe. My gaming life has always been intertwined with a global community, and this collaboration seems like a perfect reflection of that. The fusion of football, one of the most universally played games, with high fashion is an intriguing concept that resonates deeply with my experiences.

In June at La Maison de l’UNESCO in Paris, Pharrell’s Louis Vuitton collection for Spring 2025 aimed to bring the world together through a fusion of global fashion trends on the runway. This collaboration with Air Afrique and designs inspired by Mother Earth themes was also highlighted, as well as references to one of the planet’s most widespread games: soccer.

Mixed among jackets, jerseys, and shorts inspired by real soccer balls, a stylish sneaker, reminiscent of modern soccer cleats, made its mark on UNESCO’s lush lawn during the show. This shoe, officially known as the Louis Vuitton Footprint Soccer, is set to become available for purchase at the end of this month.

The model boasts a robust structure, featuring an upper made of intricately laced calf leather and a cushioned rubber base, all while upholding Louis Vuitton’s signature style. The design showcases the emblematic “LVERS UNITED” motif alongside double-quilted LV lettering, positioned along its slanted lines and leather tongue. This stylish piece comes in five distinct colorways: Black, White, Blue, Red, and Forest Green.

Distinctively, the interwoven logos and floral emblems of this label are elongated to form a five-toed imprint on the shoe’s sole, allowing wearers to subtly mark their territory with Louis Vuitton on soft surfaces. Additionally, the year “1854” is engraved at the back as a nod to the rich legacy of this fashion house.

On December 26, you’ll have the opportunity to pre-order the LV Footprint Soccer shoe via Louis Vuitton’s website and app. The shoes will officially hit the shelves in stores starting from January 2. Don’t forget to check out the design images provided above for a sneak peek!
