Over this past weekend, November 23rd through 24th, 2024, I was part of an intricate filming experience for Love & War at Studio 2 in Film City, Goregaon, as reported by Midday. It appears we’ll be back at the studio for another seven days to shoot, as a grand disco set has been built on location. Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal are my scene partners in this exciting production!
One of the team members seems to have informed the stage that it should depict an ’80s disco, as Sanjay Leela Bhansali desired a backdrop that would stir feelings of nostalgia.
The team member additionally disclosed some particulars regarding the sequence, stating, “The segment depicts around 30 soldiers dancing away to old tunes such as ‘Laila main Laila’ while in the background. On the other hand, Alia and Vicky’s characters can be observed engaged in a deep discussion, reflecting the emotional struggles they are experiencing.
According to the latest update, Alia Bhatt is scheduled to work on “Love & War” for the upcoming ten days. Following that, she plans to resume filming for her YRF Spy Universe project titled “Alpha” in early December.
Over the past weekend, Ranbir Kapoor found himself at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa. Before starting the shoot for Love & War, he made a trip to an Air Force Base in Rajasthan together with Vicky Kaushal to get ready for their roles.
Previously, TopMob revealed that Alia and Vicky have committed around 200 days for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming film titled “Love And War”. A source familiar with the project disclosed, “Alia and Vicky are dedicating their time to Sanjay Leela Bhansali until he finishes his grand love story. They won’t be working on any other film until then. The goal is to complete Love And War by the third quarter of 2025.
The movie “Love & War” will be hitting theaters on March 20, 2026, falling within the extended vacation period that includes Ramadan, Ram Navami, and Gudi Padwa celebrations.
