As a huge fan of Tom Ellis and his captivating acting skills, I can’t help but be thrilled about his latest projects that showcase his versatility and talent in completely different genres. In an interview with MovieWeb, Tom shared his perspective on playing God in the animated series “Exploding Kittens,” and it was evident that he found the experience to be a fun and refreshing change from his last supernatural role as Lucifer.

As a gamer, I’d put it this way: Playing God in the new animated series, Exploding Kittens, with Tom Ellis in the lead role, is quite an unusual gig for me. In an interview with MovieWeb, he confessed, “I mean, when they approached me to be God, I was like, ‘Cool, so I’ve got a new job, that’s awesome!’ But honestly, it’s a whole different ball game compared to my previous projects. There were some common themes, like humanity, but the way I had to use my voice and bring fun to the role was something entirely new for me.”

In an amusing new comedy produced by Shane Kosakowski and Matthew Inman, Ellis acts alongside Sasheer Zamata (known for “Agatha All Along”). The storyline: A negligent God (portrayed by Ellis) is reprimanded by the celestial council and sent to Earth as a cat to make amends. There, he meets his counterpart, the Antichrist, also transformed into a cat (Zamata).

Tom Ellis on Exploding Kittens’ Cliffhanger Ending

Regarding Godcat and Devilcat from “Exploding Kittens,” the thrilling finale of the show has sparked excitement among viewers, leaving them eagerly looking forward to a potential new season.

As an avid fan, I’m excitedly sharing a sneak peek from Tom Ellis: “If we’re lucky enough to have a Season 2 of Exploding Kittens on Netflix, get ready for a whole new adventure!” I don’t want to ruin the climax of Season 1 for you, but trust me, there could be an influx of adorable, yet potentially explosive, kittens in our future.

It appears that Godcat and Devilcat have formed a relationship, and in an amusing finale to this season, Devilcat goes on to give birth to an enormous number of kittens. The phrase “helluva lot” can be paraphrased as “a huge number” or “an immense amount.” As we contemplate the possibilities for Season 2, let your imagination run wild with the thought of numerous Godcat-Devilcat offspring.

During this time, an intriguing dilemma arises. With the arrival of these two new additions, does Tom Ellis prefer dogs or cats? “I was raised around dogs,” Ellis shared, “but my wife changed my perspective and made me a cat lover. Now I’m the proud parent of two felines named… drumroll please! Cain and Abel, keeping it biblical.”

As a huge fan, I’m thrilled to share that an exciting project lies ahead for Ellis: the Thursday Murder Club film adaptation. This highly-anticipated production is based on the crime novel of the same name by the brilliant British comedian and presenter Richard Osman. The esteemed Chris Columbus (known for his work on Rent, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Percy Jackson, and Night at the Museum) directs this project.

Ellis expressed great enthusiasm about the project’s cast and director. In fact, he shared on social media yesterday that working with this team represents around 75% of his acting goals. Consequently, he is eagerly anticipating being a part of this remarkable group of talented individuals.
