Madelyn Cline Shares How to Achieve Her Go-To Event Glam and Everyday Makeup Look

As a seasoned gamer with a penchant for the cinematic world and its captivating inhabitants, I can’t help but feel a strange sense of camaraderie with Madelyn Cline. Just like me, she’s all about the chase – chasing pixels in her roles and chasing summer vibes with her glam. Her everyday makeup routine may not involve a controller or a quest log, but it does involve a trusty mascara wand and a potion of blush that gives off that “just-returned-from-vacation” glow.

As a devoted fan, I can’t help but admire the impeccable style of “Outer Banks” star, Madelyn Cline. Not only is her glamour consistently on point, but as Revlon’s newest Global Brand Ambassador, she manages to make it both striking and achievable for us fans. Recently, I had the opportunity to chat with Madelyn at a Los Angeles event commemorating this partnership. We delved into the secrets behind her daily makeup routine and her preferred evening look, aptly named Sunset Siren.

Last summer, my friend and makeup artist Jen [Tioseco] and I created the ‘Sunset Siren’ look… The soft, golden light pouring in through the windows inspired us to create something that embodied the warmth and romance of sunset hours. We played around with different ideas, and since I enjoy having my eyes accentuated, it evolved into a blend of sunset radiance and alluring, sultry eyes,” Cline explains to THR.

The star attraction, the eyes, are created with Revlon’s ColorStay Multiplayer Liquid-Glide Eye Pencil, specifically in the shades High Stakes and Queen of Hearts. According to Cline, she enjoys applying [the Multiplayer liner in High Stakes] along the waterline and smudging it slightly outside for an effect that extends the lash line. She also applies it to the upper lashes and then layers Queen of Hearts over the lid, blending it well. The pink tone imparts a warm, sunset-like glow.

Besides highlight and shadow, another essential aspect when achieving a radiant appearance involves using blush and lipstick, such as Revlon’s Illuminance Gel Serum Blush in Enchanting Mauve and the ColorStay Limitless Matte Liquid Lipstick in Beauty Sleep. These items are available separately, but they can also be bought together with the Multiplayer Eyeliner in High Stakes as a package called the Sunset Siren Collection.

To complete her event look, she opts for the ColorStay Flex Wear Full Cover Concealer and the ColorStay Xtensionnaire Mascara. Cline recollects her initial experience with the Xtensionnaire Mascara, expressing surprise at the outcomes: “I still remember applying it for the first time, and it gave my lashes a sort of natural extension as if I had eyeliner already on, and it applies beautifully in layers too.

For her daily makeup routine, Cline opts for a minimalistic approach, using only two items: Xtensionnaire Mascara and Gel Serum Blush. She finds that the Gel Serum Blush can serve almost as a highlighter, giving her cheeks a dewy glow while adding depth to her face, creating an effect similar to having returned from vacation with a slight sunburn and tan.

Regarding any other projects the actress might be working on, she’ll be filming “I Know What You Did Last Summer” throughout the entirety of 2024. She expresses that since they’re pursuing summer throughout the year, it seems fitting for this stylish production where golden hour lighting is eternal.
