As a dedicated follower of Malaika Arora‘s journey, I am deeply saddened by the news of her father’s passing. Despite the challenges that came with her parents’ separation at an early age, she has always emerged as a strong and independent woman. Her resilience, coupled with her unique perspective on life, is truly inspiring.
Sadly, Bollywood actress and model Malaika Arora is mourning the loss of her father, Anil Arora. This unfortunate news was shared earlier today (September 11, 2024), but the reason for his passing remains undisclosed at this time. In light of these events, Malaika and her sister Amrita Arora have hurried to their mother’s home.
It appears that reports show Malaika quickly returned to her residence upon learning about the unfortunate passing of Anil Arora, her father, who was based in Pune. Initially, this news was shared by the news agency ANI.
Additionally, it was noticed that actor-producer Arbaaz Khan made an appearance at Malaika’s family residence in Mumbai, coinciding with these reports. Both law enforcement officials and journalists were seen outside the apartment. Arjun Kapoor, Seema Sajdeh, Sohail Khan, Salim Khan, Alvira Agnihotri, and others were also spotted visiting to offer their sympathies to the actress.
11-year-old Malaika relocated to Chembur with her mother Joyce Polycarp, who is a Malayali Christian, and her sister Amrita, following her parents’ divorce. Her father, Anil Arora, originally from Fazilka – a border town in India – is a Punjabi Hindu and was employed in the Indian Merchant Navy.
In an older interview, she shared how her parents’ split gave her a fresh outlook on her mother. She pointed out that this situation instilled in her a powerful work ethic and the significance of being self-reliant. She underscored these early teachings as essential to both her life and career, stressing that she continues to be self-reliant, cherishes her autonomy, and lives according to her own rules.
