On July 25, 2024, Manish Malhotra posted images of Jennifer Lopez on Instagram, who had recently celebrated her birthday. The Hollywood actress radiated elegance in her breathtaking gown and Bridgerton-inspired ensemble during the celebration.
I’m thrilled to have had the opportunity to dress the iconic Jennifer Lopez for her birthday. The theme of her party was Bridgeton, so I created a custom couture look especially for the occasion. I designed a corset and a Victorian skirt adorned with vintage brocade to bring her vision to life. It was an absolute pleasure working with her on this project.
The designer elaborated on the intricacies of the outfit, sharing that it was meticulously created by 40 skilled artisans, requiring an impressive total of 3,490 hours. The corset and Victorian skirt boast a beautiful floral design, formed by hand with sequins and over half a million crystals. To preserve their vibrant colors, petal and ring-shaped metal sequins were treated specifically for this masterpiece, showcasing the epitome of exquisite artistry and Indian craftsmanship.
