25-year-old actor and fitness trainer Rohit Basfor from Assam was tragically discovered deceased near the Jalukpaham waterfall, located close to the Garbhanga Wildlife Sanctuary in Guwahati on Sunday evening. Preliminary reports hint at a drowning incident, but a thorough investigation is underway following the discovery of several injuries on his body during an autopsy conducted at the Guwahati Medical College Hospital.

Eventually, a friend shared details about an incident with them, leading them to contact the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF). The SDRF later discovered Rohit’s body. However, the family asserts that Rohit was murdered by four acquaintances in a premeditated attack. They believe this incident is linked to a past disagreement over parking, during which some of the accused reportedly made death threats against him.

The people mentioned are Ranjit Basfor, Ashok Basfor, Dharam Basfor, and Amardeep (the gym owner), who apparently extended an invitation to Rohit for the event. The authorities have stated that the four suspects in question are currently missing, and a comprehensive investigation is ongoing.
