As per a recent update from Mid-Day, Rani Mukerji started filming for Mardaani 3 on March 26, 2025, at the Golden Tobacco factory in Vile Parle. The report suggests that they worked at this location for a week, shooting multiple scenes featuring the actress.
It was also disclosed that the production has shifted to Yash Raj Studios in Andheri, where they will film important fight scenes for the cop drama. The report added that director Abhiraj Minawala had strategically planned crucial action sequences during this phase, emphasizing that these particular scenes being filmed are significant to the movie’s plotline.
Without revealing specific plot points, the movie’s producers suggest that the story will feature a brutal, violent confrontation between Rani Mukerji’s character and the film’s antagonists. This conflict is set to unfold around the time of Holi, hinting at intense action scenes.
