Mark Hamill, famously known as Luke Skywalker from Star Wars, is among those who have evacuated Malibu due to the fires that are sweeping through parts of L.A. He posted on Instagram about him and his family having to leave their home due to the rapidly spreading fire.
Fires that originated in Pacific Palisades have now spread to areas within Malibu and Santa Monica during the night.
At 7pm, Hamill had to quickly leave Malibu due to small fires that popped up on either side of the road near the Pacific Coast Highway, as he was heading there, which he shared on his Instagram account last night.
At 8:15 PM, Hamilton along with his wife Marilou York and their dog Trixie reached Chelsea’s house in Hollywood. He remarked, “This is the most devastating fire since ’93.” Expressing concern for others, he urged everyone to “remain safe.”

Other well-known actors from Hollywood have also voiced their concerns about the fires. For instance, Steve Guttenberg recently appeared on CNN, where he described the fire raging in Pacific Palisades, a place he calls home, as “the most shocking fire I’ve ever witnessed.
As a gamer, I found myself in quite an unexpected situation today. There were frantic mothers having panic attacks and little ones crying, all around me. The roads were clogged with cars for over two miles, making it perilous, and the police were on their way.
My entire day was spent maneuvering these vehicles uphill, hoping to create a path for the fire trucks to navigate through.
The Palisades Fire additionally spread to Palisades Charter High School, a well-known setting for numerous Hollywood productions over the years.
