Martha Stewart Reveals If She Would Go on ‘The Golden Bachelorette’

As a long-time admirer of Martha Stewart‘s culinary prowess and business acumen, I must say her recent interview left me chuckling with delight! Martha Stewart, a woman who has built an empire from scratch, continues to captivate us not only with her impeccable taste but also with her unapologetic candor.

Martha Stewart isn’t looking to have a group of seniors vying for her heart anytime soon.

On a recent episode of “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen,” I was asked about my potential participation in the popular dating reality show, “The Golden Bachelorette” on ABC.

“Absolutely not,” Stewart, 83, responded.

Nevertheless, the show’s host, Andy Cohen, inquired if any sum of money could persuade her to appear on the program, perhaps $1 million or $10 million per episode. However, even such a substantial offer wouldn’t be enticing because she declared that “the male cast members aren’t attractive enough.

As a gamer, I’d rephrase that as: “It’s not all about the cash, it’s more about the looks of the characters. Snoop Dogg jokingly commented that even with 10 million dollars, if a character doesn’t meet his standards, he can’t win over my heart.

Debuting its first season on Sept. 18 was “The Golden Bachelorette” starring Joan Vassos, a spin-off from the long-running dating reality series on ABC called “The Bachelorette“. This new show focuses on an elderly cast seeking romance. Previously, Vassos, who lost her husband to pancreatic cancer after 32 years of marriage, was a contestant on Gerry Turner’s season of “The Golden Bachelor“, but she chose to withdraw during week three due to a health issue concerning her daughter.

In the past, Stewart was wedded from 1961 until 1990 to Andrew “Andy” Stewart. They have a daughter named Alexis Stewart together. However, Martha revealed in her latest Netflix documentary Martha, as reported by People, that their marriage ended due to infidelity. At the documentary’s New York premiere, she disclosed that it has been over 20 years since she last communicated with her former spouse.
