Marvel Contest of Champions brings Spider-Woman to the fray as the threat of the Eidol Champion Lumatrix looms

Following the Dark Phoenix storyline, Kabam has recently introduced an update for Marvel Contest of Champions. This update introduces Spider-Woman as a new fighter in the superhero roster, accompanied by Lumatrix, the first Eidol Champion of 2025. With their arrival, players can embark on fresh quests, engage in special events, and progress through Act 9.2’s latest installment, all while earning valuable prizes.

On April 17th, the web-savvy Spider-Woman is set to enter Marvel’s Contest of Champions, showcasing her spider-empowered talents and covert skills in the competition. Simultaneously, Lumatrix, a stunning yet treacherous assassin crafted by The Founders, will make its first appearance on April 9th.

Instead of conventional fighters focusing mainly on fighting styles, Lumatrix stands out due to its unique blend of light manipulation abilities that hide a lethal purpose. To incorporate Lumatrix into your team, you’ll have to gather Light Essence from Battlefields, Saga Invasions, and Raids during the event which is ongoing until June 4th.

Furthermore, the latest mission called “Spy Games” finds Black Widow recruiting Spider-Woman for an investigation into the appearance of the Eidols. With peril and deceit around every corner, these two expert spies are crucial in revealing Lumatrix’s dark secret behind its ominous light display. The event takes place from March 9th to May 7th.

As a die-hard fan here, I’m thrilled to share that starting April 25th and running until May 2nd, Deadpool himself will be joining forces with Red & Dead’s Discount Shed! Red Guardian has managed to convince him to dish out some exclusive rewards – think event currency, crystals, and bonuses.

Meeting objectives will earn you Poolshields, which can then be swapped for discounted rewards at Red & Dead’s Promo Store. Additionally, daily prize drops will also be accessible from the 25th of April to the 23rd of May, meaning frequent logins will grant more freebies.
