Marvel Contest of Champions joins Marvel’s Fantastic Four celebrations ahead of movie release

  • Marvel’s Fantastic Four headline a new mode in Marvel Contest of Champions
  • The foursome will also appear at the upcoming celebratory screenings at the El Capitan theatre
  • Fans can also look forward to the new Squad Builder mode with 52 free champions

Anticipating the debut of Fantastic Four: First Steps, Marvel is excited to reintroduce their original team, the First Family. Additionally, there will be a special showing at Hollywood’s El Capitan theatre that offers various fan activities, such as numerous demo stations for the mobile game Marvel Contest of Champions!

Attendees at the El Capitan screening can participate in a unique, Fantastic Four-centric contest, pitting them against the Silver Surfer. Victors of this challenge will also receive an exclusive MoC pin featuring H.E.R.B.I.E., as an added bonus!

For those not residing in California or unable to join, there’s still lots to anticipate! From July 24th onwards, we have an exciting new arrival – the Dimensional Arcade: Doom Cycle mode. This fresh update introduces a host of innovative elements, such as effortless auto-play and an energy resource system, where the Fantastic Four confront waves of Doombots in their battlefield.

Flame on!

For fans of the F4, this latest in a suite of
new collab
and
crossover events
is going to be very cheerful news. While they may have been overshadowed by the X-Men and Avengers for many years, now Marvel’s First Family seem to be taking the spotlight once again.

If you’ve been thinking about starting Marvel Contest of Champions, now might be an ideal moment! That’s because developers Kabam are simultaneously releasing their new Squad Builder mode, which runs until August 6th. This means you’ll receive 52 fully upgraded two-star champions for free, allowing you to construct the strongest squad possible to take on this series of challenging bosses.

As a gamer, I wish I could join all the live events, but since that’s not always possible, I make sure to tune in and see if anyone from our gaming community has the chance to attend. Luckily for us, Jupiter Hadley got to check out the highly anticipated Pokémon Go Road Trip Experience!
