This beginner’s guide offers valuable tips and practices for newcomers to help you navigate through the game with ease!

Use the Bed Echo To Recover Hearts Anytime

Thanks to fairy Tri, Zelda acquires a multitude of helpful Echoes that will assist them on their voyage. One such Echo is the Bed Echo, which can be obtained relatively early in the game. Invoking Echoes doesn’t require any payment, but only how much energy fairy Tri has, restricting the number of echoes Zelda can invoke at once.

As a gamer, I can tell you that the Bed Echo is an absolute lifesaver! It only requires one energy to use, and Zelda can summon it just about anywhere. When I find myself in a tight spot with low health, all I have to do is rest in this magical bed, and Zelda’s hearts start refilling bit by bit. This makes it perfect for quick heart restorations during the early game, especially when resources are scarce.

Use the Target Button Every Time

By pressing the ‘ZL’ button, Zelda can aim at any object or foe she encounters. Often, puzzles within dungeons rely on utilizing various Echoes, along with the Bind and Reverse Bond skills.

By pressing the ‘Target’ button, you can always make the closest object or foe stand out. If you’re having trouble solving a puzzle, an effective strategy could be to click on the ‘Target’ button.

You Can Stack Octorok Echoes For More Firepower

In the game “Echoes of Wisdom,” some traditional Zelda foes return with a vengeance, causing quite a ruckus in the initial stages. For those who prefer to take down enemies from afar, accumulating Octorok Echoes is an effective strategy.

Every Octorok Echo can be paired with another Octorok Echo, resulting in a maximum of two Octoroks standing one on top of the other. Calling forth and stacking two more will establish a set of cannons that fire faster than when each individual Octorok is separately deployed on the battlefield.

In the initial stages of the game, the Crawtula Echo has a unique ability to traverse nearly all walls found in Hyrule. By summoning it and using the Reverse Bond skill on it, Link can have Zelda accompany him as he climbs tall walls.

Call forth Crawtula Echo at the foot of any tall structure such as a wall or tree, swiftly aim it by pushing ZL, then press Y to establish a connection with it. Pressing R while linked to Crawtula will activate the Reverse Bond ability, allowing it to climb and bring Zelda along.

Take Note of the Triangles on Top of Each Echo

For every summon, an Echo needs Tri’s power. Unlike Zelda who can quickly call upon Echoes, she can only do so within certain bounds at a given moment. The rate of Echo summons is determined by the amount of energy that Tri possesses. Strengthening rifts and reuniting with Tri’s companions will boost Tri’s power supply.

In this game, the number of triangles atop each Echo character indicates the amount of energy required to summon them. If an Echo has two triangles and Tri currently holds a total of four energy units, Zelda can summon up to two Echoes simultaneously. However, if Zelda summons an Echo with three triangles, Tri will expend three energy and be able to call forth only another Echo that requires one energy unit. Keep in mind the importance of managing Tri’s energy carefully so you can bring out all the necessary Echoes during a single turn.
