A terrorist has no nationality. A terrorist is simply a terrorist.” Later, she continued with three additional tweets, one of which declared that if Phantom was “anti-terrorism, then yes I am too, regardless of the country I hail from. I stand for humanity, love, and that’s it.”
However, her tweets didn’t go well with Pakistani actor Shahid Shaan who demanded an immediate ban on the actress for promoting an “anti-Pakistani film”. Mawra later penned a long open letter in her defence addressing all her fans and followers.
