As a devoted fan of both Megan Thee Stallion and BTS, I must say that their latest collaboration, “Neva Play,” left me absolutely stunned! The Houston Hottie and RM seamlessly blend their unique rap styles in this track, creating a fusion that is nothing short of electrifying.
At the close of last week, Megan Thee Stallion and RM from BTS unveiled their fresh collaboration titled “Neva Play.” For weeks preceding the launch, these two artists have been hinting at this partnership on their respective social media platforms. In this duet, Megan Thee Stallion, the Houston Hottie, and RM, the K-pop sensation, engage in a lyrical exchange, showcasing their impressive rap talents to global audiences.
Just last week, Megan wrote on Instagram teasing that, “This is one of my favorite RM verses I’ve heard. I’ve never heard him rap in this style before.” The new track is the second time Megan has worked with members of BTS. They previously teamed up on a remix of BTS’ chart-topping “Butter.” Prior to the release, Megan posted to X a simple post that featured a horse emoji and a purple heart. Megan later confirmed it would just be RM on the track. The track comes after the artist’s Megan album debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 this July. She was recently in the Gladiator-themed Pepsi commercial starring alongside Travis Kelce. As for RM, he is coming off the release of his solo album Right lace, Wrong Person which arrived in May and hit No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 200.
