During my chat with Elizabeth Vergas on NewsNation, I shared that while recording The Joe Rogan Experience podcast in Austin, Texas, I felt uneasy due to news about a fire in my neighborhood. As I returned home to Los Angeles, I had this nagging worry if my place was still standing. Sadly, upon arrival, I discovered it no longer existed.
Gibson expressed that it was quite upsetting. He had items stored there and now, sadly, they’re gone. The weight of those belongings has been lifted off his shoulders because they’ve turned into ashes,” explained Gibson. “There were many personal items there which, unfortunately, can no longer be recovered.
During the same time, Gibson became quite candid on the Rogan podcast. He criticized California governor Gavin Newsom and Anthony Fauci, a public health advisor to Donald Trump. He expressed his enthusiasm for alternative medicine, claiming that Ivermectin and “hydrochloride something” had cured three of his friends from cancer. Additionally, he voiced his concern that society is deteriorating, with the main causes being environmental problems and human atrocities.
What’s that now?
Comparing Abortion to Human Sacrifice?
It appears that Gibson, who identifies as Catholic, may be discussing abortion in this context. He engaged in a conversation with Rogan about Gibson’s controversial 2006 film, Apocalypto. Eventually, Gibson drew parallels between the portrayal of the Mayan culture in his movie and contemporary society’s issues.
It seems like you were discussing the current state of our society, focusing on how near we might be to a breakdown, and identifying potential causes for such a collapse. These factors include environmental issues and practices that could be interpreted as ‘human sacrifice’, since they are actions we indeed carry out.
Rogan seemed to be twisting or misunderstanding Gibson’s point, responding with “In a way, yes. We just put a fancy spin on it. When you discover that people are being harmed by medications, and they continue to prescribe them for profit… Well, that’s essentially sacrificing people.” However, Gibson persisted in his argument.
“It’s a mess. The human sacrifice aspect is alive and well in our society,” Gibson said.
In simpler terms, Rogan and Gibson seemed to hold different views when it came to topics like COVID-19, Ivermectin, Hydroxychloroquine, Methylene Blue, and other related substances that have been the subject of many assumptions. At one point, Gibson shared an experience about three friends who had advanced cancer. As he explained later, all three no longer have cancer, and they have reportedly taken some of what you’ve heard they took, specifically mentioning Ivermectin.
As a fan, regardless of personal opinions towards Mel Gibson, it’s heartening to know that he and his loved ones are safe. In an interview with NewsNation, the director of ‘Flight Risk’ rightly pointed out that material possessions are replaceable, while family and health are priceless. He said, “What truly matters is that everyone in my family is well, we’re all happy and healthy, and we’ve managed to get out of danger. That’s what I care about the most.
