Melania Trump Says Her Amazon Documentary Will Go Inside the White House Transition

The forthcoming Melania Trump documentary, directed by Brett Ratner for Amazon, offers an exclusive look into the inner workings of the White House and transition period. It will chronicle the journey of the First Lady as she selects her team and settles into 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

Trump shared details about the project during an interview on Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends” this Monday morning.

We began the production process in November and are currently filming. This means my daily life is filled with various tasks and responsibilities, which people may not be aware of. From assembling the transition team to moving into the White House, organizing staff, setting up the First Lady’s office, making the residence feel like home, and hiring the necessary personnel – these are just some of the ongoing activities.

Earlier this month, Amazon officially announced that they are working on a documentary about Melania Trump, with Ratner being part of it. Notably, Donald Trump himself is one of the executive producers for this film, which is expected to hit both movie theaters and Prime Video later in 2023.

The project, as described by Amazon, offers “an unparalleled, backstage perspective on First Lady Melania Trump for viewers.

According to Trump, the idea for the doc began after the release of her memoir last year.

Trump expressed his pride in the book’s success and shared that he receives numerous messages and letters from readers who enjoy it. He mentioned that his fans and supporters would like to hear more from him. As a result, he came up with the idea of creating a movie or film about his life. Trump believes his life is fascinating and extremely busy, so he asked his agent to arrange a deal for him.
