As a devoted fan of Bollywood, I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing away of Farah Khan’s mother, Menka Irani. It is always heartbreaking when we lose someone dear to us, and my heart goes out to Farah during this difficult time.

Menka Irani, mother of filmmakers Farah Khan and Sajid Khan, sadly passed away on July 26 at the age of 79 following a long-term illness. Her passing drew condolences from numerous Bollywood personalities, with Shah Rukh Khan, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and Rani Mukerji among those who visited to pay their respects. More recently, Raveena Tandon, John Abraham, and Hrithik Roshan were seen at Khan’s residence.

Hrithik Roshan, Raveena Tandon, and John Abraham paid a visit to the director’s home with sympathetic messages following her tragic loss. Abishek Bachchan, Shweta Nanda, and Agastya Nanda were among those who were spotted at Khan’s residence expressing their condolences as well.

Friend and tennis champion Sania Mirza, who is closely connected to Farah Khan, paid a visit to her home to extend sincere sympathies.

Sadly, Menka Irani received unwelcome news not long after celebrating her 79th birthday on July 12. Farah Khan took to Instagram to share a collection of pictures with her mother and pen an emotional note.

In the post, Farah openly shared her profound affection for her mom, referring to her as the most powerful and courageous individual she’s encountered in her life. Furthermore, she highlighted the fact that her mom’s wit and comedy continued to thrive despite undergoing numerous surgeries.

Menka Irani made a short appearance in showbusiness, featuring in the 1963 movie “Bachpan.” She was the beloved elder sister of renowned child actors Daisy Irani and Honey Irani.
