As a die-hard hip hop fan and avid follower of the scene, last month’s Kendrick Lamar’s “Ken & Friends” show left me absolutely speechless. The way Lamar brought out 25 artists on stage, all California natives, was nothing short of epic. Dr. Dre, Tyler, the Creator, Steve Lacy, Ty Dolla $ign, Roddy Ricch and more graced the stage, making for an unforgettable experience. Kendrick even performed his infamous Drake diss “Not Like Us” five times in a row!
Last month, Kendrick Lamar’s Ken & Friends concert surprised everyone with an impressive lineup. At the event, Kendrick was joined by 25 artists, all hailing from California. Among them were Dr. Dre, Tyler, the Creator, Steve Lacy, Ty Dolla $ign, and Roddy Ricch, to name a few. Not only that, but Kendrick performed his well-known diss track against Drake, titled “Not Like Us,” an astounding five times in succession.
Metro Boomin is set to host a solo performance titled “Metro Boomin’s Friend Circle” or something similar, implying that other artists might join him in future installments.
Metro’s one-night performance in St. Louis, Missouri, will have the producer gracing his hometown stage at The Pageant. This theater-sized venue can accommodate around 2,000 audience members.
Tomorrow, Metro along with Future will begin their “We Don’t Trust You” tour in the neighboring city of Kansas City, initiated by Metro.
As an excited fan, I can’t wait to find out who will be joining Metro Boomin for his upcoming concert! Although the exact lineup is still under wraps, tickets will be available for purchase through Live Nation starting on July 22 at 10 a.m. local time. Let’s keep our fingers crossed and stay tuned for more information!
