In a presentation at Amazon MGM Studios on Wednesday, the star made an appearance in a video segment. Wednesday’s presentation at Amazon MGM Studios saw the star feature in a video segment. He expressed his regret for not attending the Las Vegas event, as he was engrossed in filming duties in London instead. Jordan is both the director and co-star with Taylor Russell in this upcoming heist movie.

Jordan stated, “This is not your typical reboot; it’s a film that truly deserves to be viewed on a large screen.

On stage, Amazon MGM executive Kevin Wilson hinted that the upcoming film would delight viewers with some contemporary surprises.

The plot of “The Thomas Crown Affair” was first brought to life by director Norman Jewison in his 1968 movie, which featured Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway. In this film, an insurance investigator chases after the mastermind behind a daring bank robbery. This production earned two Oscar nominations.

It was remade in 1999, with the updated version starring Pierce Brosnan and Rene Russo.

In this production, Drew Pearce, known for “The Fall Guy”, has written the most recent screenplay. An earlier draft was penned by Wes Tooke and Justin Britt-Gibson. The role of producers is taken up by Patrick McCormick and Marc Toberoff, while Jordan Productions handles production under the banner Outlier Society, with Elizabeth Raposo joining in. Alan Trustman, the author of the original film, serves as an executive producer.

In 2023, Jordan will once again collaborate with the studio that launched his directorial career, the same one set to release his upcoming film “Creed III”. Coming soon to theatres from Warner Bros., Jordan’s next project, titled “Sinners”, is expected to premiere in the following month.

Every year, CinemaCon – previously known as the National Association of Theatre Owners – hosts an event, taking place this year from March 31 to April 3. This gathering brings together cinema exhibitors and Hollywood film studios.
