‘Million Dollar Listing: UAE’ Coming to Roku Channel

As a longtime fan of the Million Dollar Listing franchise, I am absolutely thrilled to see the debut of Million Dollar Listing: UAE on The Roku Channel! Having followed the high-stakes world of luxury real estate through the original Los Angeles series, I can’t wait to dive into this new international version and immerse myself in the unique charm and grandeur of the United Arab Emirates.

As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled to share that “Million Dollar Listing: UAE” – the first global adaptation of this popular reality series – will be making its way onto The Roku Channel in the US, premiering on a Thursday! Can’t wait to tune in!

Image Nation Abu Dhabi, a film and entertainment company, obtained exclusive rights from NBCUniversal Formats (a division of Universal International Studios, under Comcast-owned NBCUniversal’s Universal Studio Group) to adapt a format for a series set in the UAE. Now, this series will be accessible to Roku’s nearly 83 million streaming households.

The bilingual series, titled Million Dollar Listing: UAE, features a varied cast of real estate agents residing in the UAE, along with a guest appearance from Josh Altman, a renowned figure from the original Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles, and his brother Matt. This series combines the thrilling essence of the initial franchise with the unique allure and opulence that characterizes the United Arab Emirates.

“The production features a number of prominent figures, such as experienced realtor Ben Bendari, who is also one of the executive producers, fresh face Zay Brown, sharp negotiator Nassira Sekkay, entertainer Rami Wahood, and charming personality Riad Gohar,” the company stated.

The series we’re discussing is backed by two companies: Aldar, a prominent real estate company situated in Abu Dhabi, and Innovate Living, a high-end residential developer residing in Dubai.

“David Eilenberg, Roku Media’s head of content, stated that our platform is constantly seeking high-grade entertainment with a wide audience appeal. The initial international adaptation of this hit series is set to captivate viewers with a sneak peek into the extravagant, luxurious real estate market.”

Ben Ross, serving as the interim CEO of Image Nation Abu Dhabi, expressed his excitement: “We’re delighted to present U.S. viewers with the first international adaptation of the beloved series Million Dollar Listing. This show gives The Roku Channel audience an exclusive look into the opulent real estate sector of the United Arab Emirates, all while diving deep into the country’s lively culture and profound history.”

Maaz Sheikh, CEO and co-founder of Starzplay, commented: “This series is rapidly rising in popularity on our platform, showcasing its outstanding quality and wide appeal. With our aim to consistently offer unique and top-tier content, partnerships like this underscore our dedication to creating exceptional entertainment experiences.”

The companies proudly announced that within just one day, their nine-episode box set had reached number one on the fastest-growing streaming platform for video-on-demand in the UAE, which covers the Middle East and North Africa region.
