MING Unearths a Visually Mesmerizing 20.01 Series 3 Timepiece

As a seasoned gamer of both digital and mechanical worlds, I must say that the MING 20.01 Series 3 has truly caught my attention. The fusion of innovation, engineering, and mechanics is not just a tagline here; it’s a testament to the craftsmanship that this independent watchmaker brings to the table.

Independent watchmaker MING recently revealed the 20.01 Series 3, their latest, exclusive timepiece. This new piece symbolizes MING’s commitment to creativity, craftsmanship, and mechanical prowess.

Under MING’s Special Projects Cave initiative, this novel reference showcases what its creators deemed the first watch boasting a borosilicate dial fused together as a single piece. Striking visually, the dial showcases a radially symmetrical circular pattern made up of 600 hollow spaces. This distinctive structure provides an intriguing visual experience when viewed from various perspectives. Each of these 600 voids is meticulously filled by hand with Super-LumiNova X1, resulting in the watch face emitting a powerful and captivating glow.

As a seasoned watch collector with over two decades of experience, I find myself captivated by this exquisite timepiece housed in a 41.5mm-wide case crafted from 18k 5N rose gold. Its tantalizing design and sophisticated mechanics are a testament to the skill and artistry of the MING brand. The Agenhor for MING AgenGraphe 6361.M1 caliber, which powers this watch, is a marvel of modern horology, boasting the Agenhor coupling mechanism, regulator, and upgraded clutch.

The Model 20.01 Series 3 watch includes an anthracite goatskin strap and sells for 43,500 Swiss Francs (approximately $50,916 USD). Only 20 of these timepieces will be produced, and they are now available for purchase on MING’s official website.
