Miramax Moving Headquarters to The Lot at Formosa

Miramax has found its new headquarters and is on the move from Century City to West Hollywood.

Paramount Global and Qatar-based beIN Media Group’s jointly owned production company have signed a fresh, extended lease agreement for relocating their office to The Lot at Formosa. Come January’s end, Miramax will occupy a 16,000 square foot area on the campus situated along Santa Monica Boulevard and North Formosa Avenue. By then, employees are expected to have moved into their new workspace.

Since the appointment of Jonathan Glickman as its CEO last year, Miramax has resided within a 20-story building, owned by Douglas Emmett, located at 1901 Avenue of the Stars in Century City.

For over a year now, under the leadership of Jonathan Glickman as CEO, Miramax has been based out of a 20-story building, owned by Douglas Emmett, situated on 1901 Avenue of the Stars in Century City.

The new addition will be part of an entertainment complex that currently houses tenants such as HBO, Live Nation, Showtime, Dotdash Meredith, and Kevin Hart’s production company Hartbeat, located at The Lot – a 11-acre property owned by CIM Group featuring seven soundstages. In 2021, HBO and Max secured a long-term lease for the use of approximately 161,108 square feet of space on this campus.

Miramax, known for its recent productions like “The Holdovers” and “The Beekeeper” starring Jason Statham, has secured a first-look agreement with Paramount Pictures. Previously, they obtained U.S. distribution rights for “Roofman,” starring Channing Tatum, with plans to release the film in late 2025 in cinemas.

Miramax was repped in the office move by Pat Moody and Clay Hammerstein of CBRE.
