As a dedicated follower of Indian cinema, I have always admired the resilience and strength exhibited by actors and actresses off-screen. The recent unfortunate incident involving Preeti Jhangiani’s husband, Parvin Dabas, serves as a stark reminder of the unpredictable nature of life.
Actress Preeti Jhangiani’s spouse, actor-director Parvin Dabas, has been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit due to severe injuries from a car accident. The actress herself has given an update on his health, revealing that he is expected to remain in the hospital for another week before being moved out of the ICU.
Speaking to Hindustan Times for the first time since my beloved husband Parvin Dabas‘ tragic accident, I finally shared my heartfelt concerns. By his side through every moment in the hospital, I couldn’t help but notice that he’s been struggling with concussion – symptoms like dizziness, double vision, fatigue, and nausea becoming all too familiar. It’s a tough journey, but I want others to be aware of these signs so they can take action if needed.
She mentioned that he’s been rather quiet. Fortunately, both his MRI and CT scans showed no issues. He’ll need to remain in the hospital for another week before leaving the ICU. In three days, we’ll perform another CT scan, she explained.
On Saturday morning in Mumbai, an accident occurred. Overwhelmed by this sad event, Preeti expressed that they’re struggling emotionally with it. She pointed out that Dabas is typically full of energy and always discussing work endlessly. Yet, to witness him motionless instead of his usual active self is deeply troubling for the family.
Preeti referred to it as an “unfortunate incident” as she explained about the accident. “He had been working all night and was driving early in the morning. A sudden burst of headlights made him lose control, crashing his car into a divider. Fortunately, he was near a hospital and two boys helped him get there,” revealed the 44-year-old actress.
To summarize, Jhangiani added that a toxicology test was performed. She stated emphatically that the police report found no indication of “drinking and driving.” Moreover, she emphasized that her husband firmly disapproves of drunk driving and law-breaking in general.
On March 23, 2008, Parvin Dabas tied the knot with Preeti Jhangiani. They have two boys named Jaiveer and Dev. In terms of his acting career, Parvin recently starred in Tahira Kashyap’s Sharmajee Ki Beti, which premiered in June this year. He has also been featured in Made in Heaven Season 2, Hostages, and Sarabhai vs Sarabhai.
