The latest release in the Monster Hunter series, Monster Hunter Wilds, has smashed previous records. Interestingly, earlier games such as Monster Hunter World and Rise are still thriving. In fact, following the announcement that Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak had sold 9.8 million copies by March 31st, Capcom revealed that this number has now surpassed 10 million.
Initiated in March 2021, this expansion took players out of Kamura and into a fresh territory. With the assistance of hunters stationed at Elgado Outpost, they engaged in battles against the Three Lords, one of which is the newly introduced flagship monster Malzeno, to unravel the enigma surrounding Qurio.
In addition to a fresh endgame engagement for Anomaly Investigations, the release of Sunbreak also unveiled new Switch Skills, enabling players to effortlessly switch between skill sets during battles. Each weapon category was updated with unique moves, while Master Rank made its debut in the game, offering higher-tier armor and more challenging encounters.
