Monster Hunter Wilds’ first free title update is getting a showcase next week to unveil “a host” of new additions coming to the action RPG

An upcoming sneak peek for Monster Hunter Wilds is just around the corner, focusing specifically on the game’s inaugural free title update slated for release in the coming days of next month.

Today’s announcement reveals that the event, organized by producer Ryozo Tsujimoto, will unfold a week from now on Tuesday, March 25th, at 7am Pacific Time, 10am Eastern Time, or 2pm Greenwich Mean Time. The main attraction appears to be the return of the Leviathan monster Mizutsune in this update, but Capcom hints at “a number of other exciting new elements” as well.

It’s possible that we’ve been hinted about the nature of some other upcoming challenges, as it’s been confirmed that a more difficult opponent, stronger than Tempered monsters, is coming. Whether this new monster is Mizutsune or another formidable creature remains unclear, as last month’s update also mentioned an additional tough enemy and another challenging monster to face. In other words, we can anticipate encountering at least two new creatures in the game, one of which will likely give us a tough time.

Not only does this announcement bring excitement, but it’s also worth mentioning that there’s more good news ahead. The developers have hinted at multiple upcoming title updates, so keep a close watch for any updates. In a recent video, the game’s producer mentioned they were working on several title updates, and asked fans to stay tuned for more information. Additionally, the art director shared that there are many planned updates, some of which have already been announced, while others are still being developed, all with the aim of making the game as enjoyable as possible for everyone.
